Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother’s Day to you! For all the unselfish things that you do, hat’s off! Thank you for putting those extra little touches on all the birthday parties, graduations, etc. You put so much of your time and energy into every single little detail. I assure you, it never went unnoticed. The many blessings that you gave to me and countless others will always be remembered.

You have cared for me and others when we were sick; you nursed us back to health. From the scratched knew to stitches and surgery, you were always there holding my hand. Your hugs and kisses showed me what the true meaning of love really is. You have taught me how to be unselfish and to believe in myself. You made me strong by showing me your strength.

For those of you who didn’t have a nurturing mother, a huge hug goes out to you. I pray that you had some type of loving figure in your life. You have been someone to share the good times and the bad with, someone to hold you when you cried, and someone to love. A mother is such a special person, and not all are perfect. Some deserve a second chance. You were taught the greatest lesson in life, and that was the type of mother not to be. For that you can be grateful for lessons learned.

To all of the fathers that are playing this role, enjoy your day, you deserve it. You wear so many hats your children will see and appreciate as they grow. Between homework and skinned knees, their love will grow. Thank you for being you, the one who is there!

You paid those bills and worried how you’re going to make it from one day to the next. The love and attention you give is truly immeasurable, and you can’t put a price tag on that.
